WOOLWORTHS

woolworths-logo.jpgFlux’s trend presentations are varied, but holistic. Woolworths invited Flux to present a report on the changing nature of the consumer mindset at their annual conference for their top 20 food suppliers. The presentation demonstrated how two, seemingly opposing trends – technology and the eco movement – are merging and shaping a very different consumer, who’s demands and expectations are not being realized by large corporations and retailers.

NEDERBURG

nederburg-logo.jpgFor the 2008 Nederburg Wine Auction, Flux designed a unique lifestyle experience to compliment this annual event. Instead of a fashion show, guests were treated to ongoing sensory experiences throughout the day, which were designed to reawaken the 5 senses. For example in the SOUND chamber, guests were treated to a poetry experience by 3 cutting edge, South African poets. Each poet received specially a selected Nederburg wine, where after they were asked to compose a poem, based on their mood after imbibing the wine. The poems were then recorded, and then looped throughout the day via special sound pods, providing an intimate sensory experience.
